Well here they are Ty, Derrick and Allyson! This picture was taken after Derricks graduation from bootcamp from the Navy! Isn't he a handsome young man! Jen took us to a really cool little restuarant that we drove in circles trying to find.... That was the start of the "being lost" part of the weekend! haha
I can't believe how old all of the "kids" are these days! It is amazing to me how just flys by! Each and everyone of them has so much talent. I am so proud of all of them. There are 8 grandkids in all and we each have a boy and a girl! All beautiful!

School starts soon. Ally just finished band camp! Woohoo She will be in the high school marching band while in 8th grade. Ty starts football next week. Then there is me, I am hanging in there. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers for us.

The Sock Hop!

We recently went to the School "Sock Hop" that happens once a year. As you can tell Marc and I really don't dress the part but the kids do and love it. Hey what's not to love. Pizza, rootbeer floats, soda, sweets, hoola hooping and music! Not to mention time spent with good friends.

This is me and my friend Gina. She dressed the part. I just had on bright red lipstick!

Here is Ty with Josh and Chase. These are two of his best buddies. They all had a great time....being boys!
This was at the end of the dance. Josh, Ty and Ally hanging out in the 50's car. Can you tell how much Ty really loves that???

Ok now this has nothing what so ever to do with the dance but I wanted to show you all my new wall. I even got to pick the color....pretty cool huh. This is my wall of black/white pictures. I am presently waiting for one of Brody....do you see his spot on the left there! I love this wall.

Willow is sad there was nothing under the tree for her!!! Poor baby.

Ally and Ty just opened their Wii Fit! Happy kids they are! Just what they wanted along with clothes and other games!!

Quick Update!

Here is a picture of Ty at the UofM vs. Utah game. Yep Utah won but hey he got to go to his 1st UofM game so it didn't matter. AND, yes Marc took him.

This is Allyson and me at a Pumpkin carving party at Marc's boss' house. Ty ended up getting 3rd place. It was a lot of fun!

This is crazy duo on Halloween night. He went as a biker dude and she went as a Abby from NCIS...aka....Goth Girl. They had a lot of fun. Another cold night in Michigan!

Another picture of Allyson carving her pumpkin! Good company, good food and lots of fun for all!

Now it is Christmas so you can tell I am way behind on everything! I am trying to keep up so I will put new pictures up for Christmas!!!

Reish Compound Report

Hi everyone who visits us! Just a few more pictures of the kids while we were out west. This is our boy at a river somewhere in New Mexico. (NO Nick he was not panning for GOLD.)

This is Ty and his "prize" lizard that the cat Simon caught for him at his Uncle Jeff's house. I am still not sure what was more fun for him (us). Outside in the heat hunting for lizards OR chasing the cat through the house getting this lizard from him. We had to pick up the couch when Simon dropped it and Ty dove for this little guy! Success!!! Woohoo (Oh Noah he really wished you were there to witness this!!!)

This is Ally and her cousin Isaac. Ally had a great time with this little guy!! She also had lots of fun with his dad and mom. (Carli you are still #1 girlie) Her cousin thought she was great! Don't we all?????

*Our home report. This was the "first" harvest from our garden. Wow, right!! We had NO idea that it was going to explode on us like it did. We are going to have to tweak some things for next year. It has been fun. We are now waiting for the pumpkins (yes Traci we have pumpkins....8 of them!!!) melons and squash!*

wE ARE hOmE!!!

Greetings everyone! We are home! It was a long day running through airports and watching lightning from our seats in the airplane but we made it home!!!
We had a great time out in the desert. Some days were long ones but some days just flew by! The kids experienced a life with lots of puppies and I don't think they will ever want to live with more than 2 dogs at a time! teehee
They met their Isaac for the first time. They all hit it off great for just meeting. They played and ate a lot of ice cream. We took pictures in the park with 2 of the Airedales. Isaac was more interested in the playground then the pictures. The Dales were more interested in the Rat Terrier. Oh well!!!
We went and saw Uncle Jeff and Aunt Karen. Another great time. We got to paint ball, eat, swim, eat, swim, visit, play lots of uno and hang with the gang!!!! A good time was had by ALL!!!!
Then there was grandma's! Very busy! We ate lots of ice cream ( a couple of gallons). They played with puppies, swam, went for hikes, sight seeing, went to Albuquerque oh the list goes on and on. We just had a great time.
THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO ENTERTAINED US!!!

Going Home Soon!!

Hi everyone! Yes we are still out west. We have been hanging out with family and dogs. We have been having a lot of fun. Time sure did fly bye. We will be home very soon. We wanted to share a few pictures with you all. Trust me we will have a lot more when we get back to Michigan. We hope you enjoy these few.

This is Ally & Ty with their cousin Isaac. Isn't he a cutie. We had such a great time with him. (Yes with his mommy and daddy too.)

Uncle Jeff got Ty up really early to go on a lizard hunt. Turns out they only caught one. The best luck they had all day is when the cat Simon brought one in the house. The cat dropped it and it ran under the couch. We picked it up the couch and Ty grabbed it!!! Woohoo Success for our boy that day!!

Guess who this is?? Yep it is Ally. She just got smacked in the face with a paint ball by Ty. She is so very proud of it. They love to do this when they come to their Uncle Jeff and Aunt Karen's house. Look at the mountains behind her....... aren't they beautiful?

A little Short!

Hi everyone! We are not really sure about our trip. We have been in New Mexico the whole time. There was a lot we wanted to do but just didn't get to do. Bummer I know. :(( We can't connect with our family in Arizona. That is ok maybe next trip. This trip may have to be cut a little short.

Marc is working lots. Poor Willow and Pilar are "home" alone!!! Yikes we can't let that happen can we??? Our garden is exploding all over. Yikes!!! It is crazy. I will post pictures of it when I get home so you can see it.

New Mexico

Greetings from New Mexico! We made it here on July 17th. The trip really was uneventful. Our flight from Chicago to El Paso was VERY full. The airport people tried to help out so we could all sit together..... but it didn't work out. SO, Ty and Ally sat in a row in front of me. I seriously was just trying to help out whoever Ty was going to be next to. teehee Yep!!!! Those of you who know Ty well know the senerio only too well. He knows NO stranger. He talked that poor woman's ear off the whole flight!!! LMAO I bet she was sorry by the time we got to El Paso that she didn't change her seat with me!!! Oh well lesson learned for her I guess.

We are all have a nice warm time. It has rained hard a couple of times but we decided the rain was better than the snow and humidity!! Ally and I had a hot day when we went to the Sonic to get slushes and the car we were in had "problems" lets just say. WE ended up getting towed, that is after waiting 30 minutes in 95 degree heat for them. I thought it was great but Ally was not to happy with it! haha I did assure her she wouldn't melt!!! Nope she didn't!!

Ty and Ally have been keeping busy with the 8 little puppies, 3 older puppies and the 5 adult puppies! They have decided their grandma lives in a "dog" house!!! Oh there are 3 min-poodles but they don't count!! Do they? They are going through puppy care 101 and boy is it funny!!

No we haven't been gone that long but we are missing Marc, Willow and Pilar like crazy! So that is all for now. You can come over and check out Willows blog too. She has a lot going on as well.

Henry Ford Museum & Al's Birthday

So.....this was one of Ty's last field trips. It was to the Henry Ford Museum. The picture to your left is of Marc and our friend Brian. Traci(Brian's wife) and I took the same picture 2 years ago with Ally and Nick! Personally, I think this is a great place for these two!

This is the best picture I know. This is where ALL 9-10 years olds should be right!!!! Of course Ty and his best buddy Noah are in the middle. Be scared be very scared!!! As you can tell from this picture this was their favorite place!!!
Boys......

Ally turned 12!!! Can you believe it? We can't! She had a slumber party. Yes we lost our minds and said yes to a slumber party. Ty couldn't get out of here fast enough!!!!
Ally was very organized (unlike me) and had the whole thing planned out down to the last detail! NO idea where this gene came from!! She is posing with all her birthday booty! She is so proud of her campfire cooker thingy. She has been wanting one for a couple of years. Her camping buddy got her one! (click on the picture and it will enlarge)

Well I will sign out for now! I have to get the laundry going! Nope I will not flood the laundry room this time! We need to get packing for our trip. Signing out from the Reish Compound!!

Jump Right In!!

Well....Ally bailed on us so it is actually quiet around here! If you can imagine that. She will be home on the 11th so we are enjoying it while it lasts. (Shhh don't tell her but we do miss her)

Our well guy came today to start on our well. Can you all hear me crying from where you are? NO??? Maybe I am not crying loud enough. Listen carefully tomorrow and I will have Willow, Ty and Pilar join me!

Our garden is doing great!! We actually got to pick some veggies out of it and eat some of them. Yum Yum!! I need to take pictures of it for all of you. I looks like it exploded due to all the rain we got! Here is a picture of the beginning process of it!! This really was a family project. They worked, Willow played, the cats watched, Pilar ran off and I took pictures!!! Now is that us or WHAT!!!!????? Ok so I flooded the laundry room that day and had to clean that up while this fun was going on but hey....it could have been a lot worse right!!! Some of you know what I am talking about:: holes in ceilings, sides of cars damaged, boulders and bumpers, plane tickets in different counties, no oil and I am sure any of you can jump in. So flooding the laundry room was MILD!!! Besides we will just blame Marc for that one and call it good. He didn't tell me the spicket was broken. The rest......well they were ALL me!!

So please let us know if you are able to hook up with us while we are out west. Email us or blog us. 8 more days and we will be in New Mexico. We will be going between Deming and Thatcher. More on this on another post.

Hi everyone! This is our first blog for Ally and Ty. I thought since we will be going on vacation for 3 weeks we could keep in touch by using this.
